Codato s.r.l., established in 1954, is specialized in the production of small mechanical parts. After setting out as a manufacturer of fittings, the company soon branched out into partnerships with firms in a variety of industrial fields.

Since taking this strategic decision, Codato s.r.l. has developed into a flexible enterprise that is perfectly placed to respond quickly and efficiently to new and highly diverse market demands.

Since 2003 we have obtained the qualification of our Quality Management System in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9001.

Our certification was issued by DNV, a world-leading certification body.

With our comprehensive range of production machinery, we are excellently equipped to handle jobs of all sizes - from one-off items to large series consisting of thousands of parts in any plastic or metal material. Our spacious warehouse is permanently stocked with bars in all standard diameters and a variety of materials, allowing us to handle even urgent requests in minimal time. We operate in multiple branches of industry where machining processes play a vital role. Thanks to our longstanding experience, we can also provide our customers with sound advice on the most economical techniques for producing specific parts.

MACHINERY

Our machinery comprises:

Milling

Chiron machining centre with travel X550 Y300 Z280

Kitamura milling centre with two pallet tilting tables, travel X300 Y200 Z300

Conventional milling machines

TCNC lathes

Lathes with 2, 3 and 6 axes for machining from blank bar and remachining

ABC lathe with 5 axes for machining from blank bar

Automatic lathes with adjustable Citizen turning heads and 8 axes up to 32 diameter

Automatic lathes and conventional machines

This equipment allows us to machine turned parts with diameters from 3 mm to 70 mm from blank bar or remachine parts up to 250 mm in diameter.

TURNING

We manufacture turned parts with diameters from 3 mm to 250 mm in any plastic or metal material. Thanks to our advanced machinery, we can offer completely machined and finished parts from blank bar, including drilling, milling and remachining of the rear edge in any batch size.

MILLING

Our machining centres are equipped with fixed tables and pallet changers. All our machinery is programmed using CAM. We can thus machine both one-off items and large batches optimally in any plastic or metal material.

OTHER MACHINERY PROCESSES

At the customer's request, we can also take care of the heat and surface treatment for the machined parts. What's more, all components manufactured by Codato can be assembled directly on the premises, so that the customer receives a fully functional, finished product.
